End User License Agreement

Last updated: 6/10/2026 (UTC)

1. Agreement

By creating an account, signing in, completing a check-in, or otherwise using the CheckMeIn platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Nature of the service

CheckMeIn provides software tools intended to help hosts and property managers handle administrative and bureaucratic tasks related to short-term rentals and guest check-in. The Platform is designed to make short-rental operations easier to manage. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice, and it does not replace professional counsel or official procedures required in your jurisdiction.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you use the Platform, for the accuracy and completeness of data you enter or submit, for guest registration and identity verification where required by law, for communications and filings with public authorities, and for maintaining records required by applicable rules. You must ensure that your use of the Platform complies with all laws, regulations, and contractual obligations that apply to your properties and business.

4. Authorities and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CheckMeIn and its operators are not liable for any miscommunication, omission, delay, error, rejection, fine, penalty, investigation, or dispute between you and public authorities (including police, immigration, tax authorities, municipal bodies, or other competent agencies), nor for any consequence arising from your reliance on the Platform instead of official channels or professional advice. You remain solely responsible for submissions to authorities and for outcomes of those submissions.

5. Tax and regulatory compliance

Any finance, invoicing, or reporting features are provided as aids only. You are solely responsible for tax registration, tax reporting, VAT or other indirect taxes, tourist taxes, invoicing rules, and all other fiscal and regulatory compliance in every jurisdiction where you operate. We do not guarantee that use of the Platform satisfies any tax or reporting obligation.

6. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

7. Changes

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.

8. Company and jurisdiction

The Platform is owned and operated by Tomeo Enterprises Information Technology, registered with the Amsterdam Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 78573173. Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Haarlem, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
